Moving to a new place away from your friends and family isn't always easy. Especially if you are moving to a new country. Having to get used to new people and cultures can be both exciting and challenging on many levels.

Sunrise Mont'Kiara, being a popular choice among expatriates working in Malaysia, regularly has new residents moving in, especially from Korea and Japan. To help ease the transition to their new environment, the Sunrise Fun Zone organises tea party cum orientation sessions, creating an avenue to make new friends and share handy tips on community living at Sunrise Mont’Kiara.
 

It's a gesture which I'm sure these new residents can appreciate. Being a former international student myself, the international student association of my campus provided much needed assistance during my first few months in the US.

The most recent gathering for Korean residents was held on 21 July. Besides getting to know one another, they were also introduced to the House Rules and exclusive amenities available to them as residents of Sunrise Mont'Kiara. Another gathering for new Japanese residents is being planned for October.
