Whether it's the 'tossing' of Yee Sang for great fortune, mandarin 'kam' oranges for wealth, good luck and blessings from the God of Prosperity, ang-pows for goodwill, Chinese Calligraphy to create good feng-shui, Lion Dance to ward away evil spirits or everything red for good luck, there was something for everyone that afternoon. 

Joining in to usher in the Year of the Tiger ahead of the Chinese New Year festivities were over 500 residents who enjoyed a first-hand experience of this annual event by participating in activities such as Tigger Craft, Chinese Fan Making and Calligraphy.

Watching how the Dragon Beard Candy was made fascinated the expatriates, who were eager to get a taste of the candy after the demo.
