When the mercury rises, THINK ice cold

and I don't mean ice-cream, gelato or sherbet, Think MALAYSIAN
THIRST QUENCHERS
As the mercury rises, my brain fixates on all things ICE COLD.

Luckily for me, KL has no shortage of icy treats like the all time favourite 'ais kacang' - a mountain of shaved ice drizzled with flavoured syrup and evaporated milk, topped with a scoop of ice-cream

a mix-in of corn, peanuts, black jelly and nutmeg forms the base

The soya cendol is a really simple treat of shaved ice, poured in with the all-time favourite combination of gula Melaka and coconut milk, then topped off with cendol, a specially made green worm-like dough (cooked dough of green pea flour and juice from pandan leaves).
So if you need to cool down and I'm guessing 'very soon', give our local desserts a go. Different places serves varying versions of fruit cocktails and dressing. You may just be plesantly surprised.
Go on give it a go!
