An Aroma of Fire

On my second outing to E.A.T. food village, I decided to have Hokkien Mee cooked the traditional way - over a charcoal fire. Opting for mee/meehoon combo, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous serving which can be topped with chilli and raw garlic.
Attacking the meal with gusto, I discovered chunky bits of deep fried pork lard amidst the usual suspects of fish cake, shrimp and greens. One also cannot miss the distinct taste of charcoal.
The verdict : Satiates both the taste buds and the belly. Go for it!
