Malaysia rich culture stems from its broad mixture of ethic groups. Its multi-racial society provides ample opportunity to explore the different traditions among the races.

In conjunction with Malaysia's 53rd Independence Day celebration, a fusion of colours and cultures immersed in 1Malaysia spirit highlighted the theme for 'CitrawarnaMalaysia' at Sunrise Fun Zone on 21 August 2010.
About 20 families of Sunrise residents participated in this joyful and historical event.
Greeted with Chinese music upon arrival, the kids were pumped up and ready to participate in activities with immense fun factor, yet educational. Children and parents dove straight into the Culture Hunt challenge right after registration. Armed with a pen and paper, families visited the booths in search of answers. Clues were pasted around the respective culture booth.
To collect points, it doesn’t stop at getting the right answers for the quiz. Participants had to perform activities such lantern making and imitate kung fu poses at the Chinese booth, mattress crafting and put on a Malay traditional wear at the Malay booth.
