Publika, Sunrise Bhd's new retail centre at Dutamas, is set to transform the area into an engaging and lively hub with a unique 'creative retailing' concept that fuses arts and culture with urban shopping and dining.

Scheduled for opening in early 2011, Publika will cater to shoppers looking for bold, new expressions. They will be surrounded by elements of art and culture throughout the development, in an environment that is inspiring, uniquely different and personable. At the same time, there will be a supermarket, restaurants and cafés, fastfood outlets and other retail services to fulfill everyone's daily needs.

The Gallery runs the length of Publika and is home to a thriving scene of creative fashion, fun wear and arty bites

Driving the creative retailing concept is MAP (Making Art Public), an arts and cultural platform that serves as a meeting point between artists, curators, critics and the public. Its facilities include the White Box, an open exhibition gallery and the Black Box, a 200-seater experimental theatre.
