Joanne's Chai Glamour earned her the "Sunrise Chef" title together with RM300, the challenge trophy and hampers from Ajinomoto, Shriro and Spontex. Her winning recipe was made out of fresh salad greens, assorted mushrooms, fuchok, gingko served with steamed flour buns and pumpkin cake.

2nd placing went to Ms Robina with her Lauki Ka Halwa dish, an authentic Indian dessert of bottlegourd and milk. Mr Leong Sek Wai spotted a look of satisfaction coming in at 3rd place with his original offering of coriander chicken.
Amidst the excitement celebrity Chef Ismail and Florence Tan were the guest judges and demonstrated how easy it was to create kerabu (mango and papaya) salad that was later served to the residents. The children enjoyed a tasty fun time making cheesy toast, drizzling syrup and sprinkling toppings onto crackers, marshmallows and ice cream. Apart from food tasting, the children were left in awe at the height of the teh tarik and roti canai demonstration.
