Who would have thought that Transformers would come for a visit at the Sunrise Fun Zone? Well, one of them stopped by on 24 July to celebrate the birthday of July 'babies' with a party themed 'ROBOTECH'.
Who would have thought that Transformers would come for a visit at the Sunrise Fun Zone? Well, one of them stopped by on 24 July to celebrate the birthday of July 'babies' with a party themed 'ROBOTECH'.
The children were busy piecing together body parts of their mini robots created from recycled materials. They also had to work in teams to decorate a life size robot costume made of carton boxes, plastic bottles, CDs, baking foil and recycled paper. Representatives from each team had to perform a guided robot dance led by the Transformers.
It became a moment of confusion for some parents at the Robot Command game when the children were shouting commands of "1..1..1" (for moving left) and "0..0" (for moving right) all at the same time. It wasn't a simple task for the parents as they had to walk 10 metres to the stage with stools and boxes as obstacles. All the adult and children teams completed the task successfully. Those with their birthday in July got to cut cake and received card games.
