The second sharing session by the Sunrise 'my best recipe' winners was conducted on 20 July in the presence of 12 participants. This round, 1st Runner Up Ms Robina Bhatia introduced METHI MALAI MATAR to all. 

The second sharing session by the Sunrise 'my best recipe' winners was conducted on 20 July in the presence of 12 participants. This round, 1st Runner Up Ms Robina Bhatia introduced METHI MALAI MATAR to all.

Methi Malai Matar is an Indian vegetable dip perfect for breakfast or tea time. It is made up of fenugreek (fresh or dried) and green peas prepared in a creamy base and goes well with naan, paratha /roll or plain bread. 

 

Here are the health benefits of this dish:

            1. Fenugreek leaves are enriched with vitamin C and minerals like potassium, calcium and iron
2. Helps in digestion
3. Improves the milk secretion in lactating mothers
4. Protects against cancers of the breast and colon
5. Lowering Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics
6. Green peas are a good source of vitamin C, K and maganese, dietary fiber, folate, thiamin (vitamin B1), Vitamin A, B6, phosphorous, protein, magnesium (Vitamin B2), riboflavin, copper, iron, zinc & potassium
